IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. (IAT for short, stock code: 300825) is one of the first batch of high-tech enterprises rated by the State, the first listed independent automobile design company in China, and the best-in-class and independent automobile designer across the country. IAT is a specialist in R&D, premium and core parts manufacturing, development of new energy vehicle etc. IAT was established in 2007, and it is currently headquartered in Beijing.

IAT, an independent automobile designer, is the pioneer of China’s  "turnkey" services for vehicle design and engine/powertrain development, and it is committed to becoming a worldwide leading independent automobile design and development solution provider. Dr. XUAN Qiwu is a native of Changchun city, Jilin Province. He was admitted to Tsinghua University at the age of 16. He worked in Changchun FAW Automobile Research Institute after graduation. He pursued higher degrees at Kyushu University in Japan in 1992 and received his doctorate in 1998. Afterwards, he worked for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in Japan and served as the Director of Development Department at the headquarter office. In 2002, Mr. XUAN returned to China and began a new journey of his career. In 2020, under his leadership, IAT was successfully listed on the GEM board.
