The Embodied AI Supply Chain Ecosystem Conference (ESCC) kicked off at the Beiren Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing E-Town on July 30, 2026. Hosted by the Bureau of Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, the conference is themed “Smart Chain for the Future, Win-Win through Collaboration”. It aims to build an exchange and cooperation platform for enterprises across the embodied AI industrial chain, attracting more than 400 upstream and downstream enterprises and over 50 industry experts.

Showcasing China’s Speed: IAT Attends 2026 China Auto Forum

The 2026 China Auto Forum was held in Jiading District, Shanghai from July 21 to 23, 2026, under the theme of “New Start, New Opportunities, New Journey – Jointly Drawing a New Blueprint for High-Quality Development of the Automotive Industry”. Hosted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), this year’s forum comprises more than 16 sessions, including one closed-door summit, one plenary forum, one technology leaders summit and 13 thematic forums. On the morning of July 23, Thematic Forum 9, titled “The Rise of Indigenous Design – Building a Distinctive Chinese Automotive Aesthetics and Cultural System”, was held as scheduled. Liu Haitao, Vice President of IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., attended the forum and joined a roundtable discussion, holding in-depth exchanges with industry peers on topics including the structural transformation of Chinese automotive creativity and AI empowerment.

IAT and CAAM Jointly Release Industry’s First White Paper on AI Agent-Powered Automotive R&D

The 2026 China Auto Forum, opened in Jiading, Shanghai, on July 22, 2026, under the theme of “New Start, New Opportunities, New Journey – Jointly Drawing a New Blueprint for High-Quality Development of the Automotive Industry”. At the forum, the “White Paper on AI Agent-Enabled Automotive R&D and Design – From Tool Assistance to AI-Native Development (2026)” was officially released, co-compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., with participation from automakers including FAW, Changan, BAIC, Chery, GWM, Li Auto and NIO. It is the first industry white paper in China’s automotive R&D sector focused on AI agent-empowered R&D and design, and systematically lays out a complete pathway for automotive R&D to evolve from tool-assisted to AI-native models.

Empowering Quality Upgrade with Robust Technology: IAT Testing Center Attains Authoritative CNAS Accreditation

Recently, the Testing Center of IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IAT) has successfully passed the rigorous assessment conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained official CNAS laboratory accreditation. This accreditation signifies that IAT’s testing system, core technical capabilities, hardware test platforms and full-process quality control standards are fully aligned with the international general standard ISO/IEC 17025. The center has officially joined the ranks of authoritative testing institutions within China’s automotive industry. Test reports issued by IAT will be mutually recognized and accepted in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. This achievement will greatly strengthen IAT’s international service capacity and core competitive moat in the fields of complete vehicle R&D and core component verification.

Expanding into New Growth Areas: IAT Partners with LightWheel and Yusys Technologies to Establish a Joint Venture

On June 25, IAT Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 300825, hereinafter referred to as “IAT”), LightWheel Intelligence (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “LightWheel”), and Yusys Technologies Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 300674, hereinafter referred to as “Yusys Technologies”) jointly signed an Investment Agreement to establish a joint venture company. The joint venture will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) applications and intelligent robot development. Leveraging LightWheel’s capabilities in physical AI data and evaluation infrastructure, Yusys Technologies’ strengths in software development, data operations, and engineering delivery, as well as IAT’s extensive experience in automotive R&D, advanced manufacturing, and industrialization, the company aims to accelerate the implementation of AI technologies in real-world industrial scenarios.

Recently, the 2026 China Enterprise Global Influence Dialogue was grandly held at Pullman Shanghai Central. Guided by Shanghai United Media Group, hosted by Jiemian-CLS, and supported by the China Overseas Enterprises Global Alliance (CEGA), the event unveiled the awards of the China Enterprise Global Influence Evaluation series as a key segment of the forum.
