Formal contract for IAT(Chengdu) International Auto Design Center project

On the afternoon of Jan, 19th,2011, Chengdu international auto design center project signing ceremony was held in Shangri-la Hotel,Chengdu between Chengdu Economic and technical development Area management committee (ETDAMC)and IAT (china) auto technological Co., Ltd. Mr. Hsuan Qiwu, board of director in IAT, declared IAT would build up a research team with 3000 people to serve for global OEMs. Standing member of municipal componenty committee Mr. Liu Chao attended this ceremony, the componenticipants also include delegates from municipal ETDAMC, municipal commission of economy and information technology, municipal investment and promotion commission, Sichuan Xianfeng Auto group and some relevant enterprises.
Founded in 2001, as the biggest domestic auto design company, IAT has turned out to be domestically leading and all-dimensional auto design development and engineering service company. The reporters said that this brand new international research center project made an investment of totally 500million, specialized in whole vehicle development, technology analysis, basic materials analysis, international auto information, whole vehicle and components design, manufacture, sale, new electric vehicle main components research and development. The project will begin during this year and SOP after 18 months, it’s predicted that output value will reach above 400 million RMB in three years after setting up this center with tax revenue of 36 million. Auto industry said this project’s establishment will fill up the blank of auto design research area in Sichuan, help Chengdu improve auto insudtry chain and make service a better level.
