IAT Achieved Operating Revenue of 821 Million Yuan in 2020

On April 9, IAT (stock code: 300825) released its first annual report since its listing. In the report, IAT achieved the annual operating revenue of 821 million yuan in 2020. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 111 million yuan and the net profit before non-recurring gains and losses was 100 million yuan.

IAT is an independent automotive design company specialized in vehicle R&D, core component manufacturing, perceptual quality improvement, ADAS and autonomous driving system development, all of which are technology-intensive industries requiring sufficient R&D investment and a large number of high-end talents for keeping the technological advantages.

In 2020, IAT's R&D investment reached up to RMB82.622 million, which accounts for 10.06% of the total annual operating revenue. Both the net amount of R&D investment and the proportion of R&D investment are in the leading position in the industry. In terms of team composition, IAT enjoys an outstanding achievement. As of the end of 2020, the company has 1,637 employees, including 92 with master's degree or above, 1,132 with bachelor's degree, and 1,268 technical staff in total, accounting for 77.46% of the total number of employees.

Besides the independent automotive design capabilities, IAT is also a turnkey service pioneer for complete vehicle R&D, engine/powertrain R&D and manufacturing. The company's industrial ecology orchestrates around OEMs’ requirements. Each business segment of the industrial ecology integrates and supports each other.
