IAT Joined the "National Team" as The Only Independent Automotive Design Company

In the beginning of 2018, IAT made a breakthrough by becoming the sole independent automobile design company to join the "national team" and participate in the joint establishment of the first national new energy vehicle technology research center. This is a time of glory and fulfillment for IAT.

On March 1, the Ministry of Science and Technology established the first national-level new energy vehicle technology innovation center in Beijing, which was coordinated by 21 authorities, including the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.

Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of Science and Technology; Chen Jining, Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor; Yin Hejun, Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor, as well as renowned industry experts and scholars from home and abroad, attended the meeting and engaged in extensive discussions. IAT accepted the organizer's request to join the "national team" as a joint co-establishing partner.

This is the highest level of discussion in the domestic automobile industry about the establishment, which marks the start of the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center's comprehensive and expedited building phase. 

With the overall goal of constructing a world-class new energy vehicle technology innovation center, this center is not only a significant initiative to create a "high-grade" science and technology innovation for economic structure in Beijing, but it also helps to enhance the core competitiveness of China's new energy vehicle industry, realize China's dream of becoming a solid automotive nation, and lead the world's new energy vehicle industry development.
