IAT Successfully Signed Contract in ASEAN Expo

The 14th China-ASEAN Expo project promotion meeting took place in Nanning, Guangxi, on September 13. Business representatives from eight ASEAN nations as well as China, leaders from several provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), and Guangxi all participated in the meeting, demonstrating the strong confidence of China and ASEAN nations committed to fostering mutual trust and putting a priority on cooperation. During the signing event, a cooperation agreement was successfully signed by Ltd. and the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park Management Committee.

The China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park Management Committee is the third international park developed in collaboration between the Chinese and foreign governments. It is intended to be a pilot project for China-Malaysia cooperation as well as a demonstration zone for China-ASEAN cooperation. The China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park has become a pioneer and active practitioner in supporting the national "Belt and Road" plan and constructing a park as a carrier to promote international production cooperation, expanding the connotation of the upgraded China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.

IAT and the committee are committed to strengthening bilateral collaboration in automotive R&D projects based on the idea of reciprocity "sharing of resources, friendly cooperation, mutual benefit, and common progress." The company will build the IAT-ASEAN Automobile R&D Center in Guangxi, which will cover styling design, vehicle design, process engineering, training, and international technical discussion, according to the agreement. The center will work to further integrate automotive R&D and innovation.

Currently, the company has made significant gains in vehicle and component R&D; its collaboration with the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park Management Committee is a new complementary industry and resource effort.

A new stage in the Guangxi China-Malaysia relationship Qinzhou Industrial Park will not only boost Guangxi's vehicle industry but will also positively enhance local economic and social development while integrating the automobile sector's ecological status. Meanwhile, it will make an important contribution to Guangxi in terms of further strengthening and expanding various cooperation and sharing development business possibilities guided by the "Belt and Road" initiative.
