IAT Successfully Passed the Highest Level of TISAX Certification AL3

On February 6, 2024, IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, IAT (Beijing) Intelligent Vehicle Attribute Technology Co., Ltd. and Tianjin IAT Automotive Engineering Technology Development Co., Ltd., passed the highest level of TISAX – AL3, which is the European vehicle cybersecurity assessment guideline and data exchange security standard. 

The assessees also received a high assessment score: 2.95 points. The certification demonstrates that IAT’s protection level of in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability of key information assets has reached the highest standard of the European automotive industry. This indicates that IAT has been recognized by the European automotive industry in the field of automotive design, development and manufacturing.

As the informatization prevails, the fundamental and global nature of information systems becomes more prominent. In another word, information resources have developed as one of the important strategic resources. The automotive industry is no different -- enormous amount of interactive data is generated every day.

Any leakage of confidential information in the process will cause huge losses to the entire supply chain, thus requiring car makers and all their upstream R&D and parts manufacturing enterprises to coordinate and take unified actions to deal with the increasingly serious cybersecurity threats.

TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a Cybersecurity assessment and data exchange security standard for the Cybersecurity industry, launched by the Federation of the German Automotive Industry (VDA) in cooperation with the European Association for Secure Data Exchange in the Automotive Industry (ENX). TISAX is so far the only Cybersecurity certification for the automotive industry chain and applicable to all organizations in the entire value-added chain of the automotive industry.

After passing TISAX AL3, the highest assessment level of cybersecurity management system in the automotive industry, IAT is proud to demonstrate that its protection level of availability, integrity and confidentiality of key information assets, including customer data, meets the highest requirements of the cybersecurity industry in Europe. Passing the TISAX certification also clearly indicate that IAT can provide technical services of product R&D and information security protection for more international automobile enterprises.
