IAT Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Wuxi Economic Development Zone

Recently, IAT and Wuxi Economic Development Zone formally reached a strategic cooperation agreement to establish the Global Innovation Center of AI Automotive R&D and Design to jointly promote the innovative application of AI technologies in automotive design and related fields. This cooperation marks a new stage of innovative cooperation between the two partners in a number of scenarios, including vehicle, component, virtual factory, and humanoid robot.

As the “innovation core” of “One City, Two Cores” principle, Wuxi Economic Development Zone is actively building modern industrial clusters and accelerating the deployment of new tracks for future industries, including five major industrial ecosystems, such as industrial software, intelligent connected vehicles, energy storage and new energy technologies. 

As a leading global supplier of vehicle design solutions and a global solution advisor of NVIDIA, IAT has a profound accumulation of technology and innovative application experience in automobiles and parts, as well as the application of AI technology in the automotive sector.

According to the Agreement, the two Parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in various aspects, including scenario innovation, AI model development and computility cooperation, digital twin development, open platform establishment for intelligent robots, AI-powered industrial software research, data assets entry, and integration of industry and education etc. 

In particular, in terms of scene innovation, the two sides will jointly promote the deep diving and application of innovative scenes of IAT AI-powered platform in the fields of localized automobiles and components, industrial Internet, and humanoid robots, etc., and actively promote typical application cases conducted with domestic and foreign top-class enterprises.

Regarding computility cooperation, the two sides will jointly promote the IAT-NVIDIA OVX Smart Computing Kit on the Wuxi Computing Scheduling Platform to provide one-stop solutions for users in various scenarios. Meanwhile, based on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform and AIE environment, the two sides will jointly develop applications to promote high-quality innovation and development of digital twin models. 

In addition, the both Parties will jointly build an open platform for intelligent robots, which will be used for real-time training and simulation of intelligent robots in virtual space, accelerating the application of AI large models in the field of robotics. In terms of AI-powered industrial software, the two companies will develop a new “Digital Intelligence Model” to lead the evolution of R&D and design modes by improving programming efficiency and providing the content generative ability.

About data assets, the two sides will collaborate with Wuxi Big Data Group to explore the construction of an AI-enabled automotive and parts data zone, which defines the standards for high-quality data, and strives to build a typical case for the National Data Bureau. At the same time, the two sides will also jointly promote the establishment of AI-enabled automotive and parts talent and professional skills training system, granting professional and technical certifications related to talent cultivation.

The conclusion of this Strategic Cooperation Agreement marks a solid step ahead with fortitude and tenacity in the cooperation between IAT and Wuxi Economic Development Zone in AI-enabled automotive design and pertinent domains.
