IAT Signs Strategic Partnership with JAC Group to Jointly Build a New Ecosystem for Flying Car Industry

At the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Industry Exhibition, JAC Group announced a deepened collaboration with IAT Auto and Academician Xiang Changle’s team in the field of low-altitude unmanned intelligent equipment, covering whole-machine systems and core components. 

In addition to partnering with IAT and Academician Xiang, JAC Group will strengthen cooperation with Academician Li Yadong’s team in single-atom catalytic platform technology, with Academician Zhong Zhihua’s team in intelligent driving, advanced vehicle body, and vehicle architecture, and with Academician Su Donglin’s team to establish a joint laboratory focused on electromagnetic safety for intelligent new energy vehicles.

The three parties will prioritize joint research on key technologies for flying cars, including autonomous flight control, intelligent perception and decision-making, and efficient energy management. Additionally, they will establish a collaborative talent development mechanism to foster high-caliber professionals through joint scientific research projects, technical breakthrough, and innovation initiatives in the unmanned intelligent equipment sector. 

The partnership will also align with Anhui Province’s low-altitude economy industrial plan, leveraging local policy support and market demand to jointly explore the new blue ocean in the low-altitude unmanned intelligent equipment market.

A representative from IAT stated, “As a pioneer in China’s automotive design industry, ALT remains committed to driving innovation in the automotive sector. Together with our partners, we aim to overcome critical technical challenges in flying car R&D.”

This strategic collaboration not only highlights the innovative capabilities of the three parties in cutting-edge technologies but also underscores the Chinese automotive industry’s determination to advance toward intelligent and three-dimensional mobility. On the global stage of the Shanghai Auto Show, this partnership is poised to attract worldwide attention, injecting fresh momentum into China’s intelligent transportation industry. 

IAT Auto will seize this opportunity to deepen its technological layout in future mobility, contributing further to the transformation and upgrading of China’s automotive sector while keeping making efforts in science for better cars.
