IAT Signs Strategic Partnership with MIRAI Energy

Recently, IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan’s Mirai Energy Business Cooperative Association (hereinafter referred to as "Mirai Energy"). The two parties will jointly develop and mass-produce EV conversion kits for 4-axle fuel-powered heavy trucks. This collaboration marks a breakthrough for IAT in the electrification of commercial vehicles.

Mirai Energy, a cooperative established by Japanese truck transport operators, is committed to advancing transportation efficiency through integrated resource allocation and collaborative information sharing. By streamlining operations and fostering mutual trust among members, the organization drives cost optimization across the supply chain. 

Beyond operational enhancements, Mirai Energy prioritizes critical industry challenges including professional development programs, safety protocol implementation, and workforce welfare improvements for transportation specialists.

Under the partnership, IAT will deploy its engineering capabilities in new-energy vehicle development to supply Mirai Energy with specialized EV retrofit solutions. The collaboration will produce integrated conversion kits featuring modular motor assemblies, high-efficiency battery modules, and auxiliary control systems.

"Partnering with an industry authority like Mirai Energy enables accelerated decarbonization of heavy-duty transport. IAT will deploy its technical ecosystem in electrified propulsion systems to engineer high-performance electrification architectures for commercial fleets."

The partnership strategically integrates core competencies: IAT delivers vehicle electrification R&D infrastructure and system integration proficiency, complemented by Mirai Energy's domain-specific operational intelligence and proven use case parameters.
