IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. formally announced its entry into the robotics industry! A breakthrough has been achieved in the company's latest strategic layout—BEIJING IATROBOT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as IAT Robot), jointly invested in by IAT Auto, Yunshi Technology (Yunshi), and Shanghai Yifeng Investment Management Partnership Enterprise (Yifeng), has completed its registration and held an establishment ceremony on June 8th. 

This significant move marks IAT Auto's successful entry into a new robotics track and the strategic enrichment of its intelligent technology portfolio.

IAT has assembled a dream team of top industry experts for this robotics venture, led by Chairman Xuan Qiwu himself with heavy hitters like former Cisco senior executive Zhang Yijun on board. We're rapidly growing our technical team while partnering with leading universities to create an integrated industry-academia-research innovation ecosystem. Building on over 20 years of automotive engineering know-how, we're making a smart leap into robotics engineering.

IAT Robot's core business centers on an integrated design and R&D platform. Utilizing proven automotive engineering methodologies, the company will develop customized robotic solutions—including humanoid robots—tailored to diverse application scenarios. It offers comprehensive development services from concept to completion, alongside optimization and upgrades for existing robotic products. Current R&D initiatives encompass wheeled robots, underwater systems, drilling equipment, and automated pet-grooming solutions.

Furthermore, IAT Robot will establish an integrated simulation training platform powered by NVIDIA Isaac technology—currently the most comprehensive mainstream simulation solution for creating robust virtual training environments. Operating as a third-party platform, it will deliver full-cycle technical support encompassing simulation, testing, and optimization for robotics development across varied applications.

IAT Robot enjoys strong support from multiple stakeholders. The company is setting up in Beijing E-Town, the go-to place for robotics since 2023, which is packed with robot companies and suppliers. The robot marathon in the area has become one of must-see industry events. As a joint venture partner, Yunshi contributes its cutting-edge visual recognition expertise - providing the essential "eyes" that enable robots to perceive and navigate their environments intelligently.
