IAT Awarded as Beijing Top 100 Private Enterprise again, Driving Automotive Innovation

In September 2025, the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce released its “1+3” Top 100 Private Enterprises list, along with a selection of companies recognized for outstanding case studies. IAT Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. was included among the outstanding investment case enterprises, acknowledged for its strategic investment approach and notable results. 

The honor reflects not only recognition of IAT’s past investment initiatives but also underscores its role in advancing industrial upgrading and contributing to regional economic growth.

Founded in 2007, IAT has consistently pursued innovation and built a deep presence in automotive technology. As China’s first independent automotive design company to go public, it brings deep technical expertise and extensive industry experience, providing a solid foundation for the effective execution of its investment strategy. 

In the components sector, IAT has made strategic investments across several critical areas such as powertrain systems, automotive electronics, and high-voltage electrical technologies, steadily expanding its business scope and strengthening its core competitiveness.

IAT's investment strategy demonstrates strong foresight and strategic positioning. Under its global "Technology + Supply Chain" approach, the company has established five R&D centers worldwide while actively expanding into key international markets including Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. 

IAT has also formed joint ventures with leading global partners—the international semiconductor distributor Ryosan Co., Ltd. and the Chinese subsidiary of wire harness leader Yazaki Corporation, further strengthening its technological innovation and product enhancement capabilities.

The award exemplifies IAT's strategic investment in high-voltage electrical systems, demonstrated through its joint venture company, Beijing IAT Yazaki New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which is established with Yazaki’s Chinese subsidiary. The JV specializes in the design, R&D, production, and sale of high-voltage electrical systems and related components for new energy vehicles, guided by a product philosophy emphasizing high efficiency, lightweight design, and compatibility. 

It delivers integrated solutions leveraging high-voltage platforms and high-power charging technologies, with a product portfolio that includes Boost PDU, OBC/DCDC onboard power supplies, PDU/BDU high-voltage distribution units, and X-in-1 integrated modules. These high-performance products address key market needs such as compatibility between 800V vehicle platforms and low-voltage charging infrastructure, as well as power redundancy for autonomous driving systems.

Technology innovation remains central to IAT’s investment approach. In recent years, the company has steadily raised its R&D spending while integrating advanced AI and digital tools, such as large-scale AI models and simulation platforms, into every phase of the development process, from styling and engineering to testing and validation. 

IAT has also expanded into intelligent robotics through Beijing IATRobot Technology Co., Ltd., a joint venture with Onair Technology Co., Ltd., developing tailored robotic solutions that include humanoid robots and broadening its footprint in smart technologies.
